Managing Co-Managers and Shared Ministries

This article explains how to invite a co-manager to help run your ministry, what they can do, and what happens if the primary account leaves.

What a co-manager is

A co-manager shares access to your ministry — a spouse, a teammate, anyone who helps you post updates and manage supporters. Your ministry stays one shared presence, not two separate accounts each posting on their own.

Inviting a co-manager

1. Open your ministry settings from the menu.
2. Find the co-managers section.
3. Send an invitation to their email address.
4. They'll receive an invite to join your ministry as a co-manager.

What co-managers can do

Co-managers can post updates, respond to messages, and manage supporters alongside you — your ministry's posts, conversations, and supporter list are shared, not split between accounts.

Removing a co-manager

You can remove a co-manager from your ministry settings at any time. This ends their access to your ministry; it doesn't affect their own personal CordLine account if they have one.

If the primary leaves

If the account that started the ministry is deleted, the ministry doesn't disappear. If there's a co-manager, one of them automatically becomes the new primary, and the ministry continues with everything intact — supporters, posts, and history. If there's more than one other member already sharing ownership, the ministry simply continues under them; nothing about it changes.

Tips

• Agree on a rhythm with your co-manager so updates feel consistent, even when written by different people.
• Removing access is reversible — you can always re-invite someone later if your situation changes.
