Approving or Declining Connection Requests

This article explains how to review people who ask to follow you, and how to approve or decline them.

When you'll see requests

Depending on your privacy settings, people who want to follow you may need your approval before they can see your updates. This is especially common at higher privacy tiers, where you have more control over who connects.

If approval is required, new requests wait for you to review them.

Reviewing a request

Open your supporters area from the menu.
Look for people marked as pending or awaiting approval.
Review who they are.
Choose to approve or decline.

Approve — they become a connected supporter and can see your updates.
Decline — they won't be connected, and they won't see your posts.

How to decide

Recognize the name? If it's someone you invited or who mentioned they'd follow along, approve away.
Not sure who it is? It's okay to decline, especially if you serve in a sensitive area. You can always connect later if they reach out.
When in doubt, ask. A quick message to confirm someone's identity is always fine.

A note on security

Approving connections is one of the ways CordLine keeps your ministry safe. Take a moment with each request rather than approving everyone automatically — especially if your updates include sensitive details.
