Invitations That Don't Arrive: Resending and Fixing Email Problems
This article covers what to do when an invited supporter never gets your email, and how to tell what went wrong.
First, check for a bounce
If an invite email couldn't be delivered — a typo in the address, a full inbox, a mail server rejecting it — you'll see a bounce warning next to that supporter in your list. That's your first clue something went wrong before you ask them to check their spam folder.
Fixing a wrong email address
- Open your supporters area from the menu.
- Find the person whose invite bounced or never arrived.
- Correct their email address.
- Resend the invitation.
Resending an invitation
You can resend an invite to anyone still marked as pending. One thing worth knowing: if you send invites to several people at once and one email fails to send, the person whose email failed keeps their pending status and gets retried the next time you send invites — but someone whose invite already went out successfully won't be resent automatically just because you pressed send again. If you want to be sure a specific person gets a fresh invite, resend to them individually.
Using your invite link as a fallback

"I invited someone and nothing happened"
If a supporter tells you they tapped accept and nothing seems to have changed — they're not showing as connected, and nothing appeared in their feed — ask them to try again. This was a real, now-fixed issue affecting first-time supporters accepting from their notification bell; if you or a supporter is still seeing this, let us know.
Tips
- Double-check addresses before sending, especially when adding several people at once from a list.
- A bounce doesn't always mean a typo — sometimes it's a full inbox or a mail provider being cautious. Your invite link is a reliable fallback either way.
- Give it a few minutes before assuming an invite failed — email delivery isn't always instant.
