Why tiers exist

Every ministry is different. Some missionaries serve openly and want to reach as many supporters as possible. Others work in sensitive places where privacy protects real people. CordLine's tiers let you choose how open or protected your ministry is.

The three levels

Standard — Your updates are shared with your connected supporters, and your ministry can be discoverable so new supporters can find and follow you easily. This is the right fit for most missionaries.
Increased privacy — Your ministry is less visible publicly, and you have more control over who can connect and what they can see.
High Security — The most protected level, designed for sensitive contexts. Extra safeguards apply, and everyone on your account is required to use two-factor authentication to sign in.

How this affects your supporters

At every tier, connected supporters can read your updates and pray with you.
At higher tiers, connecting may require your approval, and some details about your location and ministry are kept more private.
Higher tiers add sign-in protections, so there may be an extra step when you or your co-workers log in.

Setting Up Your Missionary Profile

What your profile includes

How to Invite Your First Supporter

The easiest way: your invite link

Every missionary has a personal invite link. Anyone who opens it can connect with you in a couple of taps — no need to search for your name.

Open the menu and go to your supporters area.
Tap Invite or Share.
Copy your personal link, or share it straight to text, email, or social media.

Share a QR code in person

Speaking at a church, a small group, or a support banquet? Your invite also comes as a QR code. Show it on a screen or print it, and people can scan it with their phone camera to connect on the spot.

Invite by email

You can also send an invitation directly from CordLine:

Go to your supporters area and choose Add supporter or Invite by email.
Enter their name and email address.
Send the invite. They'll get an email with a link to join and follow you.

A few tips for your first invites

Start with a handful of people who already know and support you — they're your most enthusiastic first followers.
Add a short personal note when you share your link, so people know what to expect.
Post an update or two before inviting a big group, so new supporters arrive to something to read.

Adding Photos and Videos to a Post

Adding media to a post

Start a new post, or edit one you're working on.
Tap the photo or media button in the composer.
Choose one or more photos or videos from your device.
Wait a moment while they upload — you'll see each one appear in your post.

You can add several photos and videos to a single post. When you share more than one, supporters see them as a swipeable gallery, so they can move through your pictures one at a time.

Photos and videos together

You can mix photos and videos in the same post. Videos show a play button so supporters know to tap them, and they'll play right inside the feed.

Tips for great media

Landscape or portrait both work. CordLine fits your photos to the screen without awkward cropping.
Good light helps. A photo taken near a window or outdoors looks far better than one in a dark room.
Keep videos short. A quick 20–30 second clip of daily life often connects more than a long recording.
Check before you post. Make sure faces you don't want shared publicly aren't in the frame, especially if you serve in a sensitive area.

Open the post you want to edit.
Tap the photo or video you'd like to caption.

Adjusting a photo

CordLine gives you a few simple tools to tidy up an image after you've added it:

Crop to focus on what matters and trim out distractions.
Rotate if a photo came in sideways or upside down.

Make your adjustment, then save. Your supporters will see the updated version.

Replacing or removing media

If you added the wrong photo or want to swap one out, you can remove it and add a different one. The rest of your post stays exactly as it was.

Tips

Caption faces thoughtfully. In sensitive settings, you may want to describe a scene without naming the people in it.
Crop for impact. A tighter crop on a face or a moment often connects more than a wide, busy shot.
