What Data Does CordLine Collect?
This article gives you a plain-language overview of the information CordLine keeps, and why.
The short version
CordLine collects what it needs to help you share updates and stay connected with your supporters — and not much more. You stay in control of what you post and who sees it.
What we keep
- Your account details — your name, email address, and how you sign in. This is how we know it's you.
- Your profile — the display name, photo, bio, and other details you choose to add.
- Your posts and media — the updates, photos, videos, and prayer requests you share.
- Your connections — who your supporters are and any groups you've organized them into.
- Your preferences — things like your notification settings and privacy tier.
What supporters see
Your supporters only see what you share with them: your profile and the posts you send to them or their group. They don't see your account settings, your full supporter list, or anything you haven't posted.
Keeping sensitive ministries safe
If you serve in a sensitive area, your privacy tier and security settings limit how visible your ministry is and who can connect. You decide how much to share in your profile and posts — CordLine never publishes your location or details on its own.
Your data is yours
- You can edit your profile and posts at any time.
- You can export a copy of your data.
- You can delete your account if you choose — see our article on how to delete your account.
