Trouble Signing In or Receiving a Verification Code

This article covers common sign-in problems — missing verification codes, forgotten passwords, and trouble with Google sign-in — and how to fix them.

How you can sign in

CordLine offers two ways to sign in:

• Email and password — CordLine sends a short verification code to your email during sign-up to confirm it's really you.
• Google — one-tap sign-in using your Google account, no password to remember.

If you use two-factor authentication or High Security mode, you'll also enter a code from an authenticator app or a text message as a second step. See our article on setting up two-factor authentication.

A verification code isn't arriving

1. Check your spam or junk folder — verification emails sometimes land there.
2. Give it a minute; codes can take a little time to arrive.
3. Make sure you're checking the same email address you signed up with.
4. Request a new code if the first one doesn't show up.

Trouble with your password

If you've forgotten your password, use the Forgot password link on the sign-in screen. You'll be sent a reset link by email.

Trouble with Google sign-in

If "Continue with Google" isn't working:

• Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account on your device.
• Try signing in from a browser if the app version isn't working, or vice versa.
• If you originally signed up with email and password, use that instead — Google and email sign-in aren't interchangeable for the same account unless they're linked to the same email address.

"This email is already in use"

If you see this when signing up, you likely already have an account. Use Sign in instead of Sign up, and try Forgot password if you can't remember your credentials.
