How to Enable High Security Mode

What High Security mode is

High Security is CordLine's most protected tier, built for missionaries serving in sensitive places. It tightens who can find and connect with you, and it requires everyone on the account to use two-factor authentication when signing in.

Before you turn it on

High Security requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for you and anyone who helps manage your ministry. It's worth setting up your 2FA first, so you're not locked out when the requirement takes effect. See our article on setting up two-factor authentication.

Turning it on

1. Open your settings from the menu.
2. Find your security or privacy tier.
3. Choose High Security.
4. Follow the prompts to confirm, including setting up 2FA if you haven't already.

What changes

• Sign-in is protected. You'll enter a second step — a code from an authenticator app or a text message — each time it's needed.
• Connections are controlled. New supporters may need your approval before they can follow you.
• Your visibility is reduced. Your ministry is harder to find publicly.

An important note

Because 2FA is required, keep your second factor safe. If you use an authenticator app, don't remove it without a backup in place — losing your only sign-in method can lock you out. CordLine will warn you before you remove your last remaining method.

You can adjust your tier later if your situation changes.
