Posting Goals and Ministry Milestones
This article explains how posting goals and milestones work, and how Phoebe helps you stay on track.
Posting goals
A posting goal is a gentle rhythm you set for yourself — how often you'd like to share an update. Set one from your profile, and CordLine can nudge you with a reminder if it's been a while since you last posted about that goal.
- Open your profile settings.
- Find the posting goals section.
- Add a goal and choose how often you'd like to be reminded — anywhere from every few days to every few months.
Ministry milestones
Milestones are the moments worth marking — a birthday, an anniversary, a season change in your ministry. Phoebe can gently remind you and your supporters around these moments, keeping your updates timely without you having to track dates yourself.
How Phoebe helps
When a goal or milestone comes due, Phoebe can draft something for you — a birthday note, an anniversary reflection, a nudge if it's been a while since you last posted. You'll always see the draft first and decide whether to use it, edit it, or skip it.
What supporters see
Supporters see your posts as usual when you publish them — they don't see your goals or reminder settings directly. Goals and milestones are a private planning tool for you, not something posted on their own.
Tips
- Start with one or two goals. A simple, realistic rhythm you'll actually keep is better than an ambitious one you abandon.
- Milestones work best with real dates. Add birthdays and anniversaries for yourself and your family so Phoebe can help you remember them.
- You're never locked in. Adjust or remove a goal any time your rhythm changes.
