Editing Media Captions and Photos
This article covers how to adjust the photos and videos on your posts, including adding captions.
Adding a caption
Captions help supporters understand what they're looking at — who's in the photo, where you are, or what just happened.
- Open the post you want to edit.
- Tap the photo or video you'd like to caption.
- Add or update the caption text.
- Save your changes.
Your caption appears alongside the media so supporters get the full picture.
Adjusting a photo
CordLine gives you a few simple tools to tidy up an image after you've added it:
- Crop to focus on what matters and trim out distractions.
- Rotate if a photo came in sideways or upside down.
Make your adjustment, then save. Your supporters will see the updated version.
Replacing or removing media
If you added the wrong photo or want to swap one out, you can remove it and add a different one. The rest of your post stays exactly as it was.
Tips
- Caption faces thoughtfully. In sensitive settings, you may want to describe a scene without naming the people in it.
- Crop for impact. A tighter crop on a face or a moment often connects more than a wide, busy shot.
- Small edits, big difference. Straightening a photo and adding a one-line caption makes an update feel cared-for.
