Understanding Your CordLine Feed

This article explains how your feed is organized, what the caught-up marker means, and what to do if your feed feels empty.

How your feed is organized

Your feed shows updates from everyone you follow, newest first. Field updates, prayer requests, and praise reports all appear together in the order they were posted.

"You're all caught up"

As you scroll through your feed, posts you've seen are quietly marked as read. Once you've been through everything new, you'll see a "✓ You're all caught up" divider — a simple way to know you haven't missed anything. Scroll past it and you'll find older posts you've already seen.

Visiting one ministry directly

If you'd like to catch up on just one missionary or organization rather than your whole feed, open their profile from your list of connections. Their profile shows their recent updates and their welcome post, without everyone else's activity mixed in.

Welcome posts

Many missionaries and organizations have a welcome post — a short introduction pinned near the top of their profile when you first connect. It's a good way to get oriented on who they are and what they're doing before you dive into their regular updates.

Responding to what you see

You can pray, react, and leave comments on any post. See our article on reactions and comments for the different ways to respond.

If your feed feels empty

A few common reasons:

• You haven't followed anyone yet — see our article on finding and following a missionary.
• Everyone you follow hasn't posted recently. Missionary life is unpredictable, and posting frequency varies a lot from person to person.
• You're pending approval with someone you tried to follow — their updates won't appear until they approve your connection.

Tips

• Pull down to refresh if you think you're missing something new.
• Follow a handful of people to start — your feed feels more alive with even two or three connections than with none.
