Understanding Supporter Tiers

This article explains how CordLine's tiers work, so you can choose the right level of privacy for your ministry.

Why tiers exist

Every ministry is different. Some missionaries serve openly and want to reach as many supporters as possible. Others work in sensitive places where privacy protects real people. CordLine's tiers let you choose how open or protected your ministry is.

The three levels

• Standard — Your updates are shared with your connected supporters, and your ministry can be discoverable so new supporters can find and follow you easily. This is the right fit for most missionaries.
• Increased privacy — Your ministry is less visible publicly, and you have more control over who can connect and what they can see.
• High Security — The most protected level, designed for sensitive contexts. Extra safeguards apply, and everyone on your account is required to use two-factor authentication to sign in.

How this affects your supporters

• At every tier, connected supporters can read your updates and pray with you.
• At higher tiers, connecting may require your approval, and some details about your location and ministry are kept more private.
• Higher tiers add sign-in protections, so there may be an extra step when you or your co-workers log in.

Choosing your tier

You don't have to decide perfectly on day one. Most missionaries start at Standard and adjust if their situation changes. If you serve in a sensitive area, look at High Security mode — we cover how to turn it on in a separate article.
