How to Create Your Account

This article walks you through creating your CordLine account so you can start sharing updates or following the missionaries you care about.

Signing up

1. Open the CordLine app or go to app.cordline.app in your browser.
2. Tap Sign up.
3. Choose how you'd like to sign up — with your email address, or with your Google account for one-tap access.
4. If you use email, enter your address and create a password. We'll send a short code to your inbox to confirm it's really you.
5. Enter the code, and you're in.

What happens next

If you're joining to follow a missionary, you'll usually arrive through their personal invite link, so your account is connected to them right away.

If you're a missionary setting up your own ministry, you'll be guided through a short setup where you add your name, a little about your ministry, and your first update. Don't worry about getting everything perfect — you can change any of it later.

A few tips

• Use an email address you check often, since that's where connection and notification emails will go.
• If you signed up with Google, you won't need a separate password — you'll just tap "Continue with Google" each time.
• Your display name is what supporters see, so pick the name people know you by.

Trouble signing up?

• If the confirmation code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and give it a minute before requesting a new one.
• If you already started an account with the same email, use Sign in instead.
