Troubleshooting Photo and Video Uploads
This article covers what to do when a photo or video won't upload, and CordLine's limits on media.
An upload is stuck or failing
- Check your connection — uploads, especially video, need a stable connection to complete.
- Try again on Wi-Fi if you're on a weak mobile signal.
- If a specific file keeps failing, try a different photo or video to see if the problem follows the file.
Limits worth knowing
- Up to 10 photos or videos per post. If you're trying to add more, split them across two posts.
- There's a maximum video length. A very long recording may need to be trimmed before it will upload.
Photo library permissions
If CordLine can't see your photos at all, check that it has permission to access your photo library in your phone's settings.
Retrying safely
If an upload fails partway through, it's safe to try again — a failed attempt doesn't post anything incomplete. Remove the item that failed and re-add it if retrying in place doesn't work.
Tips
- Photos and videos upload in the background while you keep writing — give them a moment to finish before posting.
- A slow connection affects video far more than photos. If video keeps failing, try a shorter clip or a stronger connection.
- If nothing here fixes it, let us know what kind of file you're trying to upload and what happens when it fails — that helps us track it down.
