# How to Use Phoebe to Write a Post

This article shows you how to turn a few notes into a finished update with Phoebe's help.

## The idea

You bring the story — a few rough notes about what's happening. Phoebe helps shape it into a warm, readable post. You stay in charge of every word.

## Writing a post with Phoebe

1. Start a new post and open Phoebe.
2. Jot down what you want to share — even a few bullet points or a messy sentence or two is enough.
3. Let Phoebe draft an update from your notes.
4. Read it over. Change anything that doesn't sound right or true to you.
5. When it feels like you, post it.

## Getting the best results

- **Give Phoebe the real details.** Names, moments, and specifics make for a far better draft than "had a good week."
- **Always read before posting.** Phoebe is a starting point, not the final word. You know your supporters and your story.
- **Edit freely.** Trim, reword, add your own sentence — the draft is clay for you to shape.
- **Check sensitive details.** If you serve in a sensitive area, make sure the draft doesn't include anything you'd rather keep private.
