# Editing, Deleting, and Managing Published Posts

This article explains what you can change about a post after publishing, what happens when you delete one, and CordLine's current limits.

## What you can edit after posting

1. Open the post you want to change.
2. Tap **Edit**.
3. Update the text, the post type, or the photos and videos.
4. Save your changes.

You can change the **words, the post type, and the media** on a published post at any time.

## What you can't change

**The audience is set when you post and can't be changed afterward.** If you sent an update to a specific group, or to everyone, that choice is locked in for that post — to reach a different audience, post again rather than trying to redirect the original.

## Does editing notify anyone?

No. Editing a post doesn't send a new notification to your supporters — it simply updates in place. If you make a meaningful change supporters should know about, consider posting a follow-up instead.

## Deleting a post

1. Open the post.
2. Choose **Delete**.
3. Confirm.

Deleting is permanent — the post and its media are removed and can't be recovered. Comments and reactions on that post go with it.

## Drafts

CordLine doesn't currently save unfinished posts as drafts — if you start writing and leave before posting, your text won't be there when you come back. Write somewhere you can copy from if you need to step away partway through.

## A current limitation: no scheduling

CordLine doesn't yet support scheduling a post for a future time — every post goes out the moment you tap Post. If timing matters, post when you're ready to share.

## Tips

- **Fix typos freely** — editing text doesn't notify anyone, so there's no harm in a quick correction.
- **Think twice before deleting.** If a post has meaningful comments or reactions, consider whether an edit gets you what you need instead.
- **Post rather than edit for anything time-sensitive**, since editing doesn't alert your supporters the way a new post does.
