# Adding Photos and Videos to a Post

This article shows you how to bring your updates to life with photos and videos.

## Adding media to a post

1. Start a new post, or edit one you're working on.
2. Tap the photo or media button in the composer.
3. Choose one or more photos or videos from your device.
4. Wait a moment while they upload — you'll see each one appear in your post.
5. Finish writing and tap **Post**.

**Note:** on the CordLine website you can add photos; videos can only be added from the mobile app.

## Sharing more than one

You can add several photos and videos to a single post. When you share more than one, supporters see them as a swipeable gallery, so they can move through your pictures one at a time.

## Photos and videos together

You can mix photos and videos in the same post. Videos show a play button so supporters know to tap them, and they'll play right inside the feed.

## Tips for great media

- **Landscape or portrait both work.** CordLine fits your photos to the screen without awkward cropping.
- **Good light helps.** A photo taken near a window or outdoors looks far better than one in a dark room.
- **Keep videos short.** A quick 20–30 second clip of daily life often connects more than a long recording.
- **Check before you post.** Make sure faces you don't want shared publicly aren't in the frame, especially if you serve in a sensitive area.

## Made a mistake?
